Website access and hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. On access, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, including IP address, time, requested file, browser information and, where applicable, the referring page, to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in a secure, functional information website.
Hosting may involve processing outside the EU, including in the USA. Netlify describes international transfers, standard contractual clauses and its participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework in its privacy policy. Retention of technical data depends on delivery and security purposes and applicable legal requirements; Netlify does not specify a single fixed retention period.
Fonts, images and map
Fonts, images and map data are served by this website. Map interactions run in your browser and do not transmit location or health data. The site uses no analytics or advertising services. Its page code sets no cookies and stores no information in local browser storage.
Contact and external links
If you contact us by email, your contact information and message are processed to handle your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages are retained only as needed for handling the enquiry or meeting legal retention obligations. Email and phone links open the relevant application on your device. External hospital and source websites open only when a link is followed; their own privacy notices then apply.
This website does not enrol patients or collect health data through forms. Please do not send medical records to the general contact addresses. Your study centre provides separate information about processing within the study.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, such as the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner.
